Winter sports in the border-crossing region of Berchtesgadener Land
The ski region of Berchtesgadener Land is located in the easternmost section of Germany's Alps, only 20km away from Salzburg (Austria). It consists of a few places; Berchtesgaden, Bischofswiesen, Marktschellenberg, Ramsau and Schönau on the Königssee. The overall ski region can in turn be divided into 5 different regions; Gutshof, Roßfeld-Zinken, Götschen, Jenner-Königssee and Hochschwarzeck. Together they form a beautiful, extended winter sports area with more than 50 kilometres ski- and snowboard slopes and 84 km prepared langlaufloipes, including the mountain loipe Hochschwarzeck (1100 m. altitude). You will be able to make the most beautiful descents in this woody winter sports region - directly from your chalet on the piste.
