Winter sports in the Aletsch region, where walkers are in the right place too
The Aletsch region resort does not have so much to offer cross-country skiers but there are a few pretty winter walking routes. It is quite easy to reach the Aletsch Glacier from the Aletsch wood. From Blatten/Belalp, it is even possible to cross the Aletsch Glacier to Riederalp. This journey of about six-and-a-half hours may only be undertaken under the supervision of a guide. This is a very special experience. It will give your winter sports holiday a very varied edge. Enjoy the magnificent nature of the Aletsch region!
