Winter sports in the Stubaital, suitable for young and old
This Tyrolean resort is found in the high mountains and is renowned as one of the most beautiful valleys in the region. Thanks to its four glaciers, snow is guaranteed all year round. Wide pistes, mogul fields and off-piste skiing await you. There are also lots of activities for the children.

The total length of the pistes (mainly blue runs) is 89 km. The glacier pistes are excellent. With the skibus, you can get around the winter sports resort free of charge. Snowboarders will also have a whale of a time. If you want to go for a stroll, dont forget to remember about the considerable differences in altitude. The longest route crossing through this wonderful resort is 50 km long. And if you are really looking for a challenge, go for a snowshoe walk (organised by the tourist office).
After winter sports activities at a stone's throw from your chalet
Neustift is a quiet, mountain village in the resort where you will find plenty bars and restaurants. If you want to have an evening out, you could go to the theatre or to a concert. Sports fans can also take advantage of the pool and sauna or go parasailing, play tennis or squash. A trip to the town of Innsbruck (20 km away) is a must. This town has many historical monuments and is the perfect place to go out or do some shopping.
