The fashionable Gasteinertal includes the resorts of Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgestein and Dorfgastein. The region can be sub-divided in the ski areas; Schloßalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel, Sportgastein, Graukogel and Dorfgastein-Großarl.
