In the southern parts of Småland, in lovely rural surroundings but with lake Åsnen only about 500 meters away, you have the opportunity to experience all the best of Småland. Åsnen is a unique lake archipelago with more than a thousand islands and is Sweden's newest national park. This beautiful house is from the 1890s but was renovated as recently as 2013, but they have chosen to keep the feeling in the renovation and interior design. Here you have the red wooden house that brings to mind Astrid Lindgren's fairy tales. It is a large spacious house, with a large living room, spacious kitchen, new fresh bathroom and a bright, nice bedroom on the ground floor. Up the stairs, which is steep in its slope, you will find 2 more bedrooms, a large spacious one with a double bed, and a slightly smaller one with two single beds. The large family can easily fit here, and the lovely garden invites you to cozy meals just outside the house under the shade of the trees or on the balcony that is adjacent to the barn diagonally opposite. Boat and canoe, if rented, are at the house on a trailer and are taken down to the lake when in use.
