The hawk field is a lovely conservation and exercise area. There are many different walking paths both in the protective forest and by the sea. Just south you reach Skummeslövstrand and then the Bjäre Peninsula with all its picturesque summer villages and not least Båstad, the lovely tennis metropolis. To the north you can easily reach Halmstad with its fantastic beaches in Tylösand, its large entertainment offerings and all golf courses. Why not visit the small town of Laholm with its beautiful location at Lagan. The city has a cozy center with small shops, cafés and restaurants. Here Lagan winds around the city and there is fine salmon fishing and a smokehouse with restaurant. In winter you have Vallåsen's ski resort a short drive away. Hallandsåsen also has several lovely hiking trails. For those interested in golf, there are many golf courses in the area. The closest is Laholms Gk.
