We verbleven met zijn vieren in het ruime appartement in Pacengo di Lazise. Veel ruimte, een heerlijk overdekt terras (vrijwel de hele dag schaduw) en het meer op loopafstand. Hoewel de regio in juli/augustus zeer druk en toeristisch is, merkten we daar in dit appartement weinig van. Toen de airco het een keer niet deed, hielp de beheerster die onder het appartement woont ons snel en liet zelfs een flesje wijn voor ons achter. Topplek, van waaruit je makkelijk uitstapjes kunt maken naar de fraaie Italiaanse steden als Verona, Brescia en Bergamo. Tal van attracties als Gardaland en Aqualand zijn vlakbij. Lazise zelf ligt een paar kilometer verder, ook mooi.
