Royal Green

Mazamet is a typical lovely French town in the Midi-Pyrénées. Streets filled with flowers, numerous shops, squares, outside terraces, a typical southern French atmosphere. And there you will find the luxurious Villa Park of Royal Green, located right next to the prestigious Golf de Mazamet golf course.

Villa Park Royal Green (2009) is right near the Golf de Mazamet, 5 km away from Mazamet. The park has 20 luxury villas, each with a private pool. They are spread over a slightly hilly terrain. In the perfectly maintained area you will find a bread service, WiFi and bicycle rental.

Mazamet is located in the heart of the wild Parc Naturel du Haut Languedoc, a nature park at the foot of the Montagne Noir. Here you can enjoy the most beautiful walks and bike rides. At an altitude of 750 metres, you will find the Lac de Montagnès (10km) with its beaches, a playground, a restaurant and a miniature golf course Slightly further away are the lakes of Lac des Saints-Peyres (19km) and the 13km long Lac de la Raviège (32km), both with numerous water sports facilities. Once every 10 years (during autumn), the water of the reservoir is lowered. And the ruins of the drowned village will be visible. It's spectacular!

Take your car and enjoy a beautiful day trip on winding mountain passes and visit the old town of Castres (20km) with its famous Goya museum. Or explore the 14th century town of Revel (35km). Every Saturday, the wooden market hall is still used. As if time has stood still, you will find the delicacies of the country spread out before you: hams, snails, honey, jam and much more.

At an entirely different level, enclosed by two walls you will find the fully restored medieval city of Carcassonne (48km). If you have time to spare, you must visit La Salvetat-sur-Agout (43km), a historic French village on a rocky mountain. Experience the days of medieval times in the chapel and on the bridge of Saint Etienne de Cavall. But don't overlook the beaches of Valras-Plage (100km) where you can take a swim in the azure Mediterranean!

Golf de Mazamet was founded in 1956. It is one of the most prestigious golf courses in the Midi-Pyrénées. With its 18 holes on a beautiful rolling terrain and with a phenomenal view of the Montagne Noir, it is a pleasure to hit a tee.
