Le Clos des Vignes holiday centre is located in the picturesque town of Bergerac. The heart of the old town has bustling narrow alleyways with numerous half-timbered houses. In Bergerac there are several museums, including the Musée du Vin and la Batellerie, giving you an insight into traditional river-borne trade at Bergerac. Moreover, Dordogne is known for its wines, vineyards and its rich history with castles (e.g. Monbazillac 10 km), walled towns (e.g. Beaumont 35 km) and other towns (e.g. Issigeac 20 km). A short distance from the holiday centre is the park of Pombonne with its lake. You might also go to the aqua-park (5 km from Bergerac) with several swimming pools and many sporting activities, canoeing or fishing on Dordogne river and its tributaries, golf (3 golf-courses in the area), parachute-jumping, go-karting or quad-riding.
Le Clos des Vignes holiday centre is located about 1.5 km from the centre of Bergerac, and is a recently-built centre with interconnected holiday apartments, spread around the park. The park has a range of facilities, including a partially-covered swimming pool, sauna and play area.
