The surrounding villages are definitely worth a visit. In the spring, "de Bollenstreek" is beautiful anyway. Cities such as Leiden and The Hague are definitely worth a visit. Other nearby attractions; Duinrell with the Tiki Pool in Wassenaar, De Keukenhof in Lisse, Madurodam, the Omniversum and Museon in The Hague, Naturalis in Leiden and Sea Life Center in Scheveningen. We almost forget one of the most important ingredients; the beach. This is easy to achieve and guarantees fun.
