Podere Capannoli - La Sorgente

The small holiday park of Podere Capannoli is close to Pisa. From your lounger underneath one of the large parasols you can enjoy the surroundings with all those cypress and pine trees that are so typical of this area. There is also lots to do for the sport enthusiasts. There is a gorgeous tennis court in the park, in Castelfalfi (20 km) there is an 18 hole golf course and in Pontedera (10 km) there is a riding school. The children will love the playground equipment under the pine trees. Podere Capannoli consists of 9 comfortable undetached bungalows and a few small chalets. The bungalows are located by the communal pool complete with diving board and a separate paddling pool. The terraces of the bungalows are separated by means of small walls and the gardens by a hedge, so there'll be plenty of privacy.

You'll be in the famous towns of Tuscany in no time, like Florence (55 km), Pisa (30 km), Volterra (25 km), Siena (55 km) and Lucca (40 km). Pisa is of course famous for the leaning tower. Apparently Galileo threw objects from the tower in order to study the characteristics of falling. Next to it there is the gorgeous church and the baptistery. The most characteristic street is the Via Santa Maria, linking the Piazza del Duomo with the Arno. All those incredible buildings testify to a bygone splendour.
