Pal Beach Palamos

Palamós stands out as a genuine fishing village. Fishing boats sail from its harbor every day, which sell the fresh fish in the Market in the afternoon. The star product is the Palamós Prawn, which can be tasted in many of the village restaurants. At the same Market, you can visit the Maritime Museum.

Palamós has fabulous beaches and coves; The Big Beach, the Fosca and Salguer Cove, among many others. In Palamós you can take part in numerous water sports and depend on the important Palamós Sailing Club that organizes European and World level competitions.

Also noteworthy is the commercial district in the center of Palamós, such as the two night life districts, the Marina Port and the walled district, in the Old Port.

The most important events in Palamós are the Palamós Carnavals (February-March), the Main Festival (at the end of June), the Saint Carmen procession (in July) and the organization of the Christmas Sailing Race during the Christmas festivities.
