Wonderful experience if you seek quietness, beautifull view, relax and nature. The apartment is in a former farmhouse together with 3 other apartments. The furniture in the apartment can be called very characteristic and traditional. There is a separate bedroom that needs to be crossed to arrive to the autside terrace. There is another sleeping area created by positioning some closets in the living room so that it separates the area from the rest of the living room. All the equipment in the house is working well and nothing is lacking. The terrace has a great view on the large and fantastic pool, and the scenery behind it. The furniture in the terrace is well kept and comfortable. We had a great stay and the host has been very kind!

Beautiful environment! Joke takes great care of her flowers. The domain is really super beautiful and idyllic. Nice large (fresh) swimming pool, spacious terrace and great hostess! We loved Joke! Furniture a bit outdated, but charming. You can really relax here.

Warmly received by the owners Ellen and Hans, who were waiting for us. Two days earlier they had already informed about our arrival time. Although the arrival is between certain times, they are very flexible, as long as they are aware. The house is blissful. Very cool. Completely as described on the site. It looks better in reality than in the photos. Everything is very hygienic. Sheets, towels and kitchenware are provided. It has been nicely renovated and yet has retained its typical Portuguese style. It is a nice and clean swimming pool, well maintained by the host who is always busy with maintaining the grounds. He regularly empties the garbage bins of the guests. Furthermore, there is a pizza oven and barbecue on site that can be used by guests. Wood is available for the oven. All of this is in a beautiful garden, also beautifully maintained. There is a maximum of 20 people on the domain, which makes it very quiet. The domain is on a large lane, but that does not bother you at all. There are large fields full of cork trees all around. Nice to go for a walk.The area is not very touristy, so it is very quiet. There are some nice sights. You are an hour from other tourist cities such as Evora, Lisbon, ... Furthermore, Ellen knows a lot about things in the neighborhood and also a little further. They recommended a very nice and delicious restaurant: A Ribeira. We found it a pleasant and relaxing stay. Thanks Ellen and Hans
