Holiday home on a holiday park in Cothen

We had 4 wonderful days in the Veluwse Specht holiday home in Garderen. The house is modern, comfortable and also attractive. The area offers many opportunities for fun day trips such as walking in the woods, visiting nice towns, etc.

Very warm welcome by the caretaker. The villa is spacious with a large well-kept garden around it. There is a sauna in the backyard. Everything was clean, a bit old-fashioned, but quite atmospheric. Nice big TV in the living room. 2 attractive bedrooms, one with a good 1.40 meter bed and 1 with a good double bed and plenty of closet space. In the cupboards there were enough chair cushions for the garden chairs. The only minus is the small bedroom with 2 single beds on the 1st floor. This had no door, is in open connection with the living room and it was very hot and stuffy to sleep in despite the window being open and the weather was not really very warm. The inventory in the kitchen was more than adequate, there was even a milk frother for the coffee. The washer, dryer and oven were easy to operate. There are many walking and cycling routes in the area. 2 Supermarkets, bakery and butcher are nearby. Except for that small bedroom upstairs, it is a lovely house to stay in.

Great cake all arranged! Apple pie was ready, 2 candy jars, everything was in hand. The environment is beautiful and in November, of course depending on the weather conditions or not much use. The house has several seats, there are plenty of parking places around and (also handy) on the property are at 100m distance 2 charging points for electric cars.Very good all-you-can-eat restaurant at 500m and a little further great wandelroutes.Het house is older, the stained glass is cracking here and there, but the excess of radiators make it comfortably warm. Everything neat and tidy.
