A day before departure sms had contact with the landlord. We agreed about what time we would arrive and that we would call half an advance. When we arrived she came to meet us and brought us to the apartment. Everything looked neat. In the living room is a spacious fridge and a small kitchen unit where you can cook (with difficulty) with two pans. We have not really used the sofa bed, but it looked great. The bedroom is spacious and the double bed is great. Very useful are the shutters in front of the window that keep it nice and dark and fairly cool in the house. The first week it was very hot and a fan had been handy. In the end we purchased it ourselves. Furthermore, everything is present. For a sandwich or groceries you have a short 10 minutes by car. We knew that and that was no problem. The area is very beautiful. Volterra and San Gimignano are close by and very nice. Pisa and Florence are a little further and about an hour's drive away. We had a wonderful holiday.

It is a nice house, with very nice, spacious bedrooms. We were on the top floor at the front where you have the most privacy. The living room / kitchen annex is quite small, the inventory is sufficient (what is it in Italian holiday homes that there are never lids with the pans?). We had trouble with the burners on the stove, but that seemed to be up to us (tip to Riccardo to give info about that). But those are minor details. Riccardo is a pleasant host to whom you can ask anything, the environment is fantastic. From the house and the pool you have a great view. We also liked Lajatico (a bit of a drive) and Volterra of course. In short, recommended!

Beautiful house, beautiful surroundings. The house was very clean, the owner very friendly and helpful. You do have to drive a bit before you reach the larger towns, with the exception of Volterra, but if that is not a problem, an ideal base. The inventory because a whistling kettle, that is not the case everywhere. There is airo in every room, but with the windows open in the evening it cools down sufficiently. Provided it is not 39 degrees as when we were there. The pool has a beautiful view, the jaccuzi is a pleasant luxury.

You arrive in an environment that is truly fantastic. The reception to the house is about a beautiful driveway. There is a very nice house with garden, swimming pool and jacuzzi. The owner of the house is very warm and friendly !. The owner tells about the environment and what there is to do. The owner is always ready for you, fantastic man !. You really get a fantastic holiday at this estate !!!!.
