Holiday home with BBQ in Massa

This holiday home is in a truly enchanting location. The view is magnificent and there is never a dull moment. This is a great place for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility! Although there is another holiday apartment at the back of this holiday home, you will not be bothered by any other guests at all. Each has its own terrace and its own apartment. The only thing you share is the gate and the washing machine (super nice that there was a washing machine too). We were lucky that we were the only guests for almost our entire stay, so we experienced pure peace and space. The Italian owner Christian doesn't speak much English, but with the help of some gestures and Google translate you get a long way. He is a very friendly and helpful man who came briefly every other day to burn wood for the hot water. He also gave extensive tips about the area and was immediately helpful with all questions and quickly solved defects (for example, the shower did not run properly on day 1, it was fixed on day 2). Also the one day we had a storm he was very helpful and sent his brother Maurizio over to get the power going again for us. WiFi was available, but it was fairly unstable. Because I really needed 1 day of stable internet for an online course day, Christian helped here again by offering the opportunity to connect my laptop to the router with an internet cable. The router was in a separate cubicle where the cleaning supplies etc. were, which is normally not accessible to the guests. With this I was able to follow my online class day well! What was also nice is that halfway through our stay (total 12 days) we received a bag with clean towels and sheets. Small downsides were the many insects, the somewhat hard bed (which we solved ourselves by putting a few blankets under the fitted sheet, so it was fine) and the somewhat cramped showers (in any case, the house is made to the length of the average It

We have a great holiday at Casa Max. We are a family with two children, 11 and 3 years old. The arrival was heart warming. The owners were already present and their daughter-in-law came a little later (we were early). For the children, ice cream came straight from the freezer and drinks from the fridge. Furthermore, a large bowl of cookies was waiting for us and in the fridge wine, beer and a bottle of water were already cold. The house is a beautiful authentic Tuscan house. The balcony is large (approx. 18 m2) with a breathtaking view. Furthermore, it is a spacious house and everything was clean. It has no holiday "vibe", but like you are visiting very good friends. This is partly due to the decor. The area is very beautiful. For us it was the first time in Italy, but certainly not the last time. Realize that when you book this house, you are always dependent on the car for groceries. The drive to the Conad (nearest supermarket) is approximately 12 minutes. We found the ideal that we were close to various sights, Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio and were able to look up the crowds. Once back, it was wonderful to enjoy the pool, the house and the wonderful peace. The owners come by every few days (3 to 5 days). You have absolutely no problems with this. They make the garden nice on side and clean the pool. We have also received several times fresh vegetables and fruit from their own grove. All in all a super holiday and a location that is highly recommendable.
