Lakeside Holiday Rentals in Pisa

Beautifully authentic two-story house full of trinkets and old elements. Equipped with modern conveniences like oven and microwave. Everything is clean, works fine and seems to be maintained. Cozy filter coffee machine present in the deliciously cool kitchen (ground floor) but no dishwasher. So wash the way it has been done for years with a brush. There is a (large) TV on the first floor (living room). In both bedrooms there is virtually noiseless air conditioning which is self-adjustable in the way the user wishes. There are windows for windows placed on the 2nd floor so you can always open your window and do not bother bugs. The double bed in the main bedroom has a spiral mattress (use is noticeable) and is for people up to 185-190 cm. We have nevertheless slept well. Terrace outside offers plenty of shaded areas, and there are lovely lounge chairs (and even a rocking chair). The view is magnificent and there is always a good breeze due to the thermal threats due to the height and temperature differences with the valley. Especially in the afternoon when the sun is the most powerful, it is very pleasant. Parasol is not movable, but can be put in different positions. Wi-Fi only on 1st and 2nd floors is regularly removed. The nearest dining area (Pizzosteria Al Piesto) is directly at the foot of the hill (7 steep hairpin curves). This is to walk 15 mins down, 20 mins up! Washing machine is included (take your own detergent) and works fine.Florence is fine by train from Pistoia (35 min) cost return per person 8.80 euro! Parking nearby The station is a parking place "Pertini" and you can stand for 2 euros all day! Tip take binoculars to spot birds of prey that float on the thermal! Nice location on a mountain. Nice view over the valley and Pistoia. Because of the wind it is a bit chilly and there is little room to sit out of the wind. Nice and tasty in the summer but fresh in the spring. Luciana is very cordial and cooks the tastiest dishes, pies, pizza and cookies for you. Very sweet. The kitchen diner is pleasant, bedrooms are also cozy. Bed is a matter of taste I think. The one is good on the other less, but we have not got any back problems in any case. The living room is spacious, but very old sagging couches. You are more comfortable outside. We were there with a toddler and toddler. That went well. There is a crib, high chair and slide. No toys available. Glad we could just use the washing machine. Everything is present and really neat clean. No dust in sight and the chlorine air comes in the bathroom. Very nice that everything was so clean. We have visited Pistoia, Lucca and Pisa and from the house you can walk a bit on the Strata Romana hiking trail (both at the top near the church and below at the entrance of the house). Supermarket is 10 minutes drive (Conad) or 20 minutes in Pistoia (coop). Baker at St Felice and a fatastic ice cream shop opposite the Conad! The owners are really very friendly. They do not really speak English, but with hands and feet and a translation app on your phone you will probably end. We had to search for the house. Tomtom stopped before the village. But from pistoia you can see the house on the mountain. Drive up the narrow road after the second bridge and after tig hairpin bends you come to the house.

We have a great holiday at Casa Max. We are a family with two children, 11 and 3 years old. The arrival was heart warming. The owners were already present and their daughter-in-law came a little later (we were early). For the children, ice cream came straight from the freezer and drinks from the fridge. Furthermore, a large bowl of cookies was waiting for us and in the fridge wine, beer and a bottle of water were already cold. The house is a beautiful authentic Tuscan house. The balcony is large (approx. 18 m2) with a breathtaking view. Furthermore, it is a spacious house and everything was clean. It has no holiday "vibe", but like you are visiting very good friends. This is partly due to the decor. The area is very beautiful. For us it was the first time in Italy, but certainly not the last time. Realize that when you book this house, you are always dependent on the car for groceries. The drive to the Conad (nearest supermarket) is approximately 12 minutes. We found the ideal that we were close to various sights, Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio and were able to look up the crowds. Once back, it was wonderful to enjoy the pool, the house and the wonderful peace. The owners come by every few days (3 to 5 days). You have absolutely no problems with this. They make the garden nice on side and clean the pool. We have also received several times fresh vegetables and fruit from their own grove. All in all a super holiday and a location that is highly recommendable.
