The apartment is much larger than expected. They do everything to make you feel at home. Keep in mind that you are staying in an authentic environment.

Friendly people, very clean, very quiet. Good connection to major cities, Genoa, Turin, Milan. The children had a very nice holiday.

We enjoyed our two week stay at Casa Gentile. Host Markies Luca Pinelli Gentile welcomed us most sincerely and during our stay Sarah, this summer's host, was always available for any questions (and purchasing wine) .The apartment is charmingly decorated and kept the cool walls cool while the temperature Outside quite properly. Casa Gentile is located directly on the large garden that can be used by all apartments. It is a huge garden with large linden trees, various terraces and a hammock, at least enough space. During our stay, this garden was used for two wednesday weddings. On the Saturday of our arrival, a disco party was held at 2200, the Markies informed us in advance that he offered us another apartment or wanted to arrange a night for us. We have struck this because we survive an Italian wedding party. We had a nice party, but we did not disturb ourselves (and a bottle of Spumante from the house emptied). On the second Saturday a dinner for 180 people was held in this garden. The construction started before, so you have to come along as a guest when you use the garden. The evening itself we were eating in Ovada and finally we saw the tail of dinner from a small terrace in the backyard. If you do not want to encounter this kind of thing during your vacation, then you can rent another apartment. We did not disturb ourselves. What's very nice is that the Markies arranges with the wedding couple that guests of the apartments can join the wedding aperitivo. Very special to pick up something of an Italian wedding in a castle. All in all, we had two feelings that we lived at the castle and heard it. Fantastic host and hostesship by Luca and Sarah.
