Holiday home with Bubble Bath in Serravalle Pistoiese

The house was really Fantastic, but the mattresses are really bad, if they would replace them in all the rooms and also put air conditioning in the house then it would be Top, because it was really hot in the bedrooms. Despite the fact that I didn't sleep well every night we still had a great time.

We (couple with child of 1) have had a great time (first 2 weeks of September)! We arrived earlier than planned, and Annamaria made sure she was still in time to receive us. Very friendly, first told a few things in her office. Then she took us to our apartment and gave us a tour. In case of questions we could best reach her via WhatsApp, because she was not there all day. That worked fine. Environment is beautiful. There is a motorway nearby that you do hear, but not dominating. Especially motors you hear.We had a great apartment, with a seat at the back, where we looked at the pool. At the pool you could sit / lie.Een small disadvantage is that you almost everything with the car must do. The nearest supermarket is in San Barberino, about fifteen minutes by car down, a lot of bends through. Was good to do, but well to be reckoned with. In the village Montecarelli itself we had a delicious lunch at Antica Osteria di Montecarelli. They are only open for lunch. Well recommended to make a reservation, it is quite popular. The pizza evening is also very nice! Every Wednesday (in good weather) a pizza evening is organized. For the guests and family members, every week they invite some other family members. Food and drinks, it is all arranged. Do not eat too much during the day because you get enough! The first pizza night we were mostly with Dutch and Belgians, the next week it was more international Canadians, Israelis, Austrians, Chinese, Belgians and us. From Montecarelli you can visit beautiful cities and villages. We went to Florence and Siena, and both were fine to do, both of us we could park in a parking garage on the edge and then walk straight into the center. In short, highly recommended!

The accommodation is in Italian style with wood-beamed ceilings, terracotta tiles and attractive furniture. The interior is complete. Nice shower and beds. The environment is rural and quiet. There are several apartments in the complex but there are several corners where you can still have a bit of privacy if you want. We found the owners very friendly and helpful. They are also easy to reach, among others. via whats app. The area is rural and quiet but there are plenty of opportunities to look up the crowds. A (rental) car is a must. 8 kilometers further on you can take the train to Florance for 3.50. That is the highlight in the area though. There is a large lake in the area but it was currently forbidden to swim. I hope for the people who go there in the summer that it is different.
