Een oud maar zeer netjes bijgehouden huis: groot, ruime kamers, gezellig en met genoeg keukengerei. De vriendelijke vrouw die ons ontvangen heeft, wilde van alles vertellen in een mix van Italiaans, Spaans en Engels. Ik kon me redden omdat ik Portugees spreek, maar anders was de sleuteloverdracht wellicht een probleempje. Toen we op een dag geen stroom hadden, belde ik de eigenaresse zelf en ze probeerde me te helpen, maar sprak géén woord Engels of een andere taal. Uiteindelijk stuurde ze een bekende om ons te wijzen waar we de stroom weer konden inschakelen. Ze was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, maar jammer dat de taal toch een belemmering was. De ligging van deze woning is heel mooi, maar handig voor uitstapjes is het niet (het ligt aan de rand van de Dolomieten). Best wel ver van de kern van de Dolomieten (ong. 1,5 uur rijden op (mooie) binnenwegen). Voor Venetië daarentegen was dit fijn. Op 15 min rijden ligt het station Statioze d'Alpago, waar je de auto kunt parkeren en een rechtstreekse verbinding met Venetië hebt (1,5 uur). Wel online treinkaartjes kopen! Het parkeren bij het huis was wel een dingetje. Via een heel smal straatje (meer een helling) kun je je rijkunsten bewijzen tijdens het achteruit parkeren. Dit was elke keer weer spannend omdat het heel krap is voor een Prius. Het huis ligt naast een kerk, een bar en een klein supermarkt. Iets verderop een bakker. Verder is in dit dorp niks te doen of zien. Het dichtstbijzijnde restaurant (pizzeria) ligt op minder dan 10 min rijden. Was een aangenaam en rustig verblijf.

Beautiful house in the mountains with lots of privacy, clean comfortable beds, complete kitchen with all basic necessities already available. Friendly reception. The children can play in the surrounding forest and stream. Plenty to do and discover in the area.

Supergoede ontvangst door hele aardige eigenaren. Een prachtig huis op een fantastische locatie tegen het bos aan. Geen op of aanmerkingen.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. We were welcomed very warmly, a swing had even been installed just before our stay because they knew we would be coming with young children. We also had a lot of fun with the hammock, the foosball table and the bbq. The house is very clean, has good beds, plenty of towels and kitchen towels and cleaning products. Everything you need is available, from basic spices to aluminum foil. Really fantastic! The only good thing to know is that the house is in San Boldo and the road to it has a lot of hairpin bends (if you come from Cison, if you come via Trichiana there is no problem). You will be rewarded by a beautiful view and a wonderfully quiet spot against the edge of the forest.
