Holiday home with Garden in Scernio

A very nice, quiet house just outside of Sesta Godano. The rooms were nice, the furnishings adequate. Great view from the balcony of Rio, Sesta Godano and the mountains. Very quiet even at night. Space for the children to play and a cozy get-together in the garden. It was typical, but surprising for us, without prior knowledge, that there were hardly any consumables such as soap, washing-up liquid and sponge or toilet paper. The supermarket is not far, so that wasn't a big problem. Barbecue is also available. Don't forget coal. Candlelight makes it easy to endure and switch off in the evening. Levanto has a beautiful, clean beach. The nearby river is quite fresh but nice to splash around. You can also sprinkle a trip to Lago Puro and hike a bit. The neighboring town of Rio is ideal for an evening stroll. We were very satisfied because we wanted our peace and quiet - and we got so much of that in the evening that we could gather enough strength for the beach!

You definitely have to swing 3 km up and you think where we will be right, but this is a good, very nice palace, which has all the conveniences. Wifi and a private swimming pool, the most important for the children, and of course we also like this. Inside and out, it looks perfect. The key is in a key safe, which is fine, no need to wait and you do not have stress. You'll really relax and the view is gorgeous. We sat alone and totally on our own and found this delicious. The building (episcopal palace) has 3 house numbers and the neighbors veranda is open, so if there are residents (which was not our case) the privacy is a lot less.

A fuller description is necessary mentioning the steep and very uneven access ramp to the property, the steep spiral staircase down to the lower level and the very steep ramp down to the lovely swimming pool. These were fine for fit able bodied people but my wife who is disabled had to be assisted in all these areas. The setting of this very spacious 400 year old house is astounding with views over the valley towards the high mountains and the railway viaduct.
