We very much enjoyed our stay at casa limoncello (end april - early May 2017)! With the easy directions received from the owners it was easy to find. The welcome was very friendly by one of the owners and his wife. The house has 3 large and nice bedrooms, so in our case enough space (2 couples and 1 kid). The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. The garden is great, with lemon trees and our little one was quite happy in a little tub we filled up with water. There were quite some musquito's outside, not sure it might have been the season, but take some repellent just in case. There were already some kids toys and also some bikes available (we didn't use though). In addition there is a bbq, a dishwasher and a washing machine. The sea is nearby but we liked Giardini Naxos better as it has also some restaurants, ice-cream places etc. We did some great trips to nearby cities (Taormina, Siracuse, Noto, Etna, Catania..) - each has their own character and with amazing history and great food they are all very nice to go see. We found for these visits that the house is perfectly located. The owner and his wife even took us for a tour in Catania (thanks again!!) and came directly when we had a little incident with a key. Weather-wise early May is a great time, we had 25 - 28 degrees, some wind, really perfect. Driving in Sicilia is a bit different and the parking can be challenging - we always looked on internet where would be good to park, quite many cities have some big parkings located just before the city which is convenient. The supermarket we used was in Lentini so about 15 mins drive, it is a big one that has all you need.

the accommodation is fine and we had a wonderful time in the house. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are good. It's lovely to stay in the garden where you can enjoy your dinner at the outside table under the citrus trees, which is a lovely place. The owner's brother has offered us a tour of Catania which was definitely worth it. fun stories and explanations about the city and its history. Very friendly reception where bottles of water, coke and wine are ready for you. Also in the simple bathroom there was everything like soap, shampoo and everything you needed. If you want to go to Sicily this is definitely a location with the beach at 100 meters and pretty towns quite close by if you have a car.

The house we rented was very nice, spacious and met what we needed. We live with 4 adults. Everyone had her own bedroom. The extra outdoor shower and toilet was very nice. Just a bit more for 4 pers. The environment of the house we found a lot less pleasant. The house itself is closed off with fences, and the neighborhood itself. We could already find it difficult, we always stranded at the gate. To be able to do so, a key is needed. Walking a block in the evening is therefore not possible. Walking to the beach is nothing and very nice. It is a quiet beach with a nice coastline.

We had a wonderfull week in the beautyfull and spacefull villa Jewels. . The view was magnificent. We could see the Etna from our terrace. The owners were very friendly and helpfull and there was everything in the house and around the house you need for a nice holiday. And there was enough to do in the neighbourhood. We really recommend the house.
