A nice and simple house where everything is there what one needs. Unfortunately, there is no BBQ, which should be present according to the description. There is talk of a garden, but there is none. There is also a curtain missing in the master bedroom. Furthermore, the house is super clean, towels, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, toilet block and scouring pad with dishcloth are all available without payment. The area is really beautiful and is also ideal for beautiful walks with the dog.

Kitchen and bath / toilet are a bit on the tight side. Location of cottage is fine, but you must have a car. Supermarket (Norma) is 1.5 km away and larger towns such as Eisenach and Gotha are less than a 20-minute drive away.

The owner is very friendly, indicates that if there is something that we can contact, and also helps if something happens (we had an accident with a crate that fell apart with some broken beer bottles as a result, but she already came right and indicated that she would clean it up and take care of it.) She also came unsolicited with extra towels and toilet paper twice in the week we were there. The accommodation is fairly small, but great for two people. Furthermore, provided everything if you at least do not want to cook very extensively. The only disadvantage is that you have to do a bit of economical with warm water. The area is very nice for walking. It is handy to bring a hiking map. Certainly a walk around the weir is recommended. We have also seen deer there. There are plenty of restaurants in the village and you can also eat very well there. A good choice in that regard too.
