Holiday home Close to a golf course in Brücktal

We had a very pleasant experience with our stay at "Am Winkelbach 3" in Oberstadtfeld. We were warmly welcomed by the owner. He told us that we could use the garden with a hammock. We didn't do this, but it looked very nice. The next day his wife brought us tomatoes from his own garden and a few days later she came with a stack of clean towels. Other than that, they left us completely alone. The house is very spacious and fully equipped. A spacious kitchen and the same bathroom. Also a great living room, but we always sat in the kitchen. There is a lot of information in the cottage about what to do in the area. A wonderful bed, we slept like roses. We had a beautiful walk every day with a lot of climbing. We came face to face with deer, saw black woodpeckers, we thought the forests were magical. We also visited Koblenz and Trier. We found Koblenz in particular to be a very appealing city, a city with a lot to see. All in all, we are very positive about the house, the surroundings and also about the owners.

We had a fantastic stay in Hünningen, a quiet little village in "Ostbelgien". We stayed in a little, very cozy house, neat and nicely decorated - the 2 of us and the dog felt right at home, also because of the separate garden with view to a pasture. At night it is very quiet so you sleep well but also because of the excellent (electronically adjustable) bed and duvet. The kitchen is well equipped with quality items and there is a map with a lot of options for walks & restaurants etc in the area. The spa area (very nice & new sauna and hot tub) was the icing on the cake, you do have to pay for it separately and in full for the whole stay. The owner is a very friendly and cooperative, helpful lady who speaks several languages, she lives next door but this doesn"t feel annoying. And of course the area is stunning, even in February with shaky weather. We will certainly go back there again. This was one of the best houses we have been in.

Het huis was prima. De verwarming (vloerverwarming) was goed. Alles was inclusief, dus beddengoed, keukengoed, maar ook WC-papier, thee, suiker, etc. stond er. Je kon keurig je afval scheiden, dus heel duurzaam. De prijs was ook zeer aantrekkelijk. Het enige nadeel is dat er geen centrale afzuiging is, maar dat is er volgens mij weinig in Duitsland. Dus je moest wel goed luchten om het CO2 gehalte beneden de 700 ppm te houden. Ik neem altijd een CO2 meter mee en dat is belangrijk voor je gezondheid. De meeste mensen realiseren zich dat niet.
