Holiday home with Bubble Bath in Vogtsburg

Nice and clean flat close to the city center and other points of interest. Rather tiny for 6 people, we were only 4 and that was ok.

Beautiful atmospheric town to spend the holiday. During the day it is pleasantly busy with tourists, but after 11 pm it is quiet. The accommodation is not located in the entertainment area, so it is always quiet in the immediate vicinity. Also a very nice base for the cities in the area; Colmar, Strasbourg, Freiburg and Basel. But there is also much to see and experience in the more immediate vicinity. Very hospitable owner who makes you feel welcome and gives clear explanations. Everything clean and present for a good stay. In the description it seemed that the Stub is suitable for 3 people, but this is not the case. There is a double bed and a sofa bed for a child. Owner said that she had already passed this on to Belvilla, but this has not been adjusted. Nevertheless, she made a sleeping place for my adult son from the couch and we had a nice stay. Great! We enjoyed it!

A very warm welcome by hostess Valerie Horn. The apartment is located in a house from the 16th century, partly built in and on top of the old fortress wall. It is long and narrow, with a wider loft as a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Through a door through the more than 1 m thick fortress wall you enter a terrace where you can relax. Simple, but comfortable and fully equipped. And not to forget: everything is spotlessly clean. The medieval Riquewihr is a picture straight out of an Anton Pieck book. There is a wide choice of restaurants, from a pizzeria to a Michelin star. There is also much to see and do in the immediate vicinity. For us this was the second year that we spent a week here. And it certainly won't be the last time.
