We were here in the May holiday of 2022. The reception in the apartment on the day of arrival was already good. The hostess called us in advance to ask what time we would arrive and when we arrived she welcomed us warmly. The apartment was very spacious for the three of us. Our 8-year-old son had his own room including bathroom. The apartment was also neat and clean. The environment is really beautiful. As soon as you go out the door of the apartment there are literally several hiking trails that you can follow directly to get into nature. We have tried them all several times. Especially the hiking trail along the top to Todtnau or the route to Fahler Wasserfall is definitely recommended. Todtnau is a nice town to visit. You can eat and drink deliciously and there is also a lot to do, such as visiting the Todtnauer Wasserfall and the Hasenhorn Rodelbahn which is 3 km long! In addition, a visit to the Steinwasen Park in Oberried or a day trip to Freiburg is definitely worth it. We were here for 2 weeks, but were still not tired of the beautiful nature. We will definitely come back here again.
