Mooi houten chalet, waar alles aanwezig is voor een ontspannen verblijf, prima bedden,keuken zeer uitgebreid met servies, kookgerei en apparaten. Aardige gastvrouw, veel info van omgeving in het chalet aanwezig. Heel mooi uitzicht, terras en balkons op het oost/zuid/westen . Voor activiteiten/steden/watervallen moet je wel 15 min tot 45 min. rijden, maar zeker de moeite waard.

We were greeted by the son of the hostess very nice with pastries and a bottle of wine. The house was also very comfortable. As far as the fireplace, so we could buy wood in the village, which is also supplied if necessary. Thus we had it always pleasantly warm in the house. The house was clean and it was in each room enough space for two persons. The kitchen was well equipped, with everything you needed. The garden was very nice and you could there The peace and quiet enjoy. The garden is not fenced, but after two days our dog knew exactly where he should go. So that was not a problem. The environment is fantastic. Very many hiking possibilities, without needing a car. All in all, we liked it very much and can recommend the house.

If you like the silence and the atmosphere of the rural french area this is the place to be. In a conveniently transformed old farm house, just the sounds of cows and the some neighboring farmers at work. The so called Gite, is almost on the circular walking track to Esmoulieres and to a few of the 1000 lakes in the vicinity. If you are adicted to Mobile coverage and/or Internet/Wifi, this location is not recommended. The kitchen has a good working oven (although the light doesn"t work) and some coffee machines. For tea lovers as we are it would have been very convenient to have a tea pot and some large tea mugs. Overall we enjoyed our stay with the family.

Arrival very pleasant, accommodation fine, we just missed the wifi to prepare our outings. before that we had to go to the reception, where it was very good, by the way, coffee, tea, soft drinks and crêpes were always our fault. gave a very hospitable feeling !! Another point is that when entering the house all 9 lamps came on at the same time and we couldn't make a few out, which gave a very bright light and I am sensitive to that. Perhaps it is possible to change that for the next guests. The area was beautiful, wonderfully walked and driven around by car and walked with our dog !! All in all we had a great holiday !!
