The beautiful villa is located in a cul-de-sac on the hillside with great views of the village and the Pyrenees in the distance. The footpath to the village is short but a bit arduous due to the difference in altitude. We were there with 5 adults and 2 dogs (2 cars). Parking in the driveway is best done backwards. 2 cars next to each other is a bit tricky but possible (otherwise one after the other). The equipment of the house is impeccable. There are 2 coffee machines, a filter machine and one with pods (Senseo). The beds are a bit too soft for us, but it"s our own feeling. The property is roughly fenced, but not necessarily escape-proof for dogs. You just have to keep an eye on them. There are very good restaurants in the place. Our recommendation: La Cédrat and La Marbrerie. Finally, a small suggestion. Since the wind is often very strong, it is not possible to set up a parasol at the pool, because it blows it away. This is also due to the fact that the umbrella stand has torn out. This should be replaced when the opportunity arises. Otherwise, everything is fine. We can only recommend the domicile.

Heel fijne ervaring. Voor ons wellicht de beste vakantiewoning ooit. Van 8h55-9h05 staat er een bakker in de straat. Er was supersnel contact met Stephanie (Belvilla) via WhatsApp. We waren de eerste huurders bij de nieuwe eigenaar, maar ook heel fijn contact kunnen leggen met de vorige eigenaar die er de 7 wijnvilla's liet bouwen en trouwens ook participeert in Chateau De l' Horte (op 1.5km), te bezoeken op woensdagnamiddag (Nederlandstalige eigenares geeft rondleiding). Nabij MIddellandse Zee (Gruissan met oa markt op vr-ochtend), Carcassonne, Minerve, Lagrasse,.... fijne markt in Olonzac op di-voormiddag.... En prima weertje (met wel geregeld vrij veel wind).

The cottage was exactly as in the description and in the photos. Everything was very clean. The mattress on the bed was new and we slept super well. Ms. Tao was very welcoming and provided us with fresh fruits and vegetables from her garden. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and a glass of homemade apricot jam. The pool was cleaned daily. The house is a little off the beaten track and you can enjoy the peace and quiet there. We can recommend the property to anyone who loves southern France.

Very kind owner. Speaks english which was very handy for us. We came with our one and a half year old, what made the accomodation maybe a little too small for us. Appliances where all in perfect order. Cottage was clean. Mas des tournevents is a perfect base to discover the corbieres. We had a great stay!
