Holiday cottage in Lantheuil

Het is een prachtig ruim huis! Erg sfeervol met een kachel in de woonkamer. Ruime keuken en goede badkamers. Alles was perfect schoon. De ligging is erg rustig en ook dicht bij de N13 waardoor je zo in Caen of Bayeux bent. Goede uitvalsbasis voor het bezoeken van de landingstranden. En erg vriendelijke eigenaren. Bakker op ca 600 m voor verse croissants!

For us this was a very nice stay with a warm welcome and in an area with plenty to do and see. The farm was a hit for our children, especially the youngest of 10, but the teenagers also found it very nice. The farm is fully operational, but they are always available if you want to ask something and make time for a nice chat. The house is right by the farm with a patio in the courtyard, a view of the trampoline and swings. Inside it is wonderfully cool due to the thick walls and cosily furnished. The house is spacious, we slept well on the good beds and it is nice that there are 2 bathrooms. Also in the kitchen is everything you need. The youngest would have preferred to stay on the farm every day, but we still made several trips to the beaches, villages, get ice cream at the dairy and visited all kinds of places on D-day. There are all kinds of tips available to see and do in the area, shorter and longer distances. A supermarket is within 15 minutes and a delicious bakery within a 10-minute drive, or a long walk. Do not expect too much from the WIFI and remember that there are always flies on a farm, then you will have a fantastic stay.

We were warmly welcomed in a child-friendly and quiet environment from where we could explore the area and beyond. You can not expect a farm to enter the farm on shiny cobblestones and that was just the charming one at the farm. You immediately feel at home through the fleas of the pets. Owners are jovial and hospitable. The accommodation itself is equipped with the basic needs. Everything is available. The extra costs for cleaning lady after our departure were superfluous in proportion to what we paid for the short stay (2 days and 3 nights). We enjoyed it. One or we want to return? Certainly know but then we no longer pay the extra costs for the cleaning lady because we leave a stay immaculate.
