We stayed 1 week in this cottage. The welcome was warm, the owners were ready to receive us and explain the house. The cottage is very quiet, you really need your car to go on the road. It is a beautiful house, we stayed there with 4 teenagers, a total of 6 people and the house is perfect for that. The teenagers thought it was a pity that the WIFI does not really work great. There is WIFI, but it is quite slow and not suitable for the needs of 4 teenagers. We didn't think that was a big problem, there is a lovely swimming pool in the garden and we also went out a few times. The shower is wonderful, gets very hot. The furnishings and cutlery etc. are also more than sufficient for such a group. The layout of the house is charming but was sometimes a bit difficult for our group. There are two excellent bedrooms with two single beds, which is fine, a small "but" is that these two bedrooms are, as it were, connected to each other over two floors and that there is no door from one room to the other, which makes it very being obedient to each other. The 4 teenagers have used these rooms. Then there is a third bedroom with a somewhat smaller double bed of 1.40 x 1.90. Again a charming room but a bit impractical because of the low hanging beams and a super sloping wall that forced one of the two to crawl into the bed. But, all in all, had a wonderful week. Quiet, sweet owners who you do not see or hear during your stay, so a lot of privacy, but who let you know that they are always there for you if you need anything. I would like to advise these people to clean the house completely (or have it cleaned) because there is a lot to get in the nooks and crannies .. The house seems to be cleaned superficially every time during the guest changes, but a good cleaning would be nice. Definitely recommended o

We stayed in the gite de la motte for one week in July 2024. The gite had recently been restored and this had been done well. The house has a lot of atmosphere and all that you need is there. There is quite some space around the house, and it is very quiet which is nice. The owners are very friendly and live in the castle next door. The surroundings are beautiful with lots of things to see and do. We would certainly recommend this nice house to others.
