Holiday home for 12 people in Midi-Pyrénées

We had a great vacation at Villa Le Houga. The villa is a large and nicely restored country side house, which is very quiet and secluded. The house itself has ample space and is well equipped. There are two very large double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, with several traditional-style bathrooms. There is one showerroom, which we all used for showering. The pool is good size and well maintained. There are sufficient lounge chairs around the pool, as well as garden chairs on both terraces. There is a tabletennis table and two bikes. There is a separate building with another bedroom available. The kitchen is big and properly equipped with two refrigerators, a microwave and a nice gas stove. We stayed there while it was very hot outside, so we did have to manage the heat a bit by using the outside shutters by closing them during the day and opening the windows at night as there is no AC. There is a satellite TV although the available channels are limited but there are ample games, novels and hobby books in the TV and reading room. Our arrival was well organized as the key was available upon arrival. Upon departure we could use the same method before leaving, such that we did not have to meet anyone, which was great given the social distancing. The only creatures we saw were some cats, which we fed by using the available cat food. Sarah took good care of us while there, checking up on us and following up on any email that we sent. There is some local tourist information available on the desk downstairs with a good baker in Le Houga and some shops in nearby Nogaro.

This large family house is in a beautiful spot in the middle of the Aveyron, at the end of a dead end, far away from all hustle and bustle. The silence is impressive, with a beautiful starry sky at night, the owl's call and daytime buzzards nearby. The large house is very atmospheric and comfortably furnished with well-equipped kitchen, large living and good sleeping areas. is beautifully situated in the back of the garden and well maintained. Next to the house flows the Alzou, a peaceful river, ideal for enjoying a pond in the old barn. You can use a cable car between two trees. In short, it's a paradise on earth, with all the potential for a successful family vacation! The owners are also friendly and involved, the contact addresses of people around are in trouble - everything is fine. We are happy to advertise This beautiful place. In the vicinity you can go for beautiful walks, fine dining, a market or take a trip to medieval villages like Conques and Najac. We combined a Eco nature with a visit to the cities of Montauban and Toulouse. An absolute recommended - with a well-earned score of 9/10!

We thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic garden of the mill. It is on a small river where you can catch fish and crayfish and build dams. The children (and we) enjoyed the game with the tobogganing, archery, table tennis, swing, fire pit, crickets and lizards and of course in the heated swimming pool. In the covered outdoor kitchen it is good to have a good time and it is great to walk past the cows on the other side of the river. We also saw a deer and squirrel in the garden. We used the old bread oven to bake bread and that went fine, we first practiced pizza. Clearly the garden makes the location so special, the house is simple but equipped with everything you need. Both wifi and 3G are not as stable, probably due to their remote location, but what do you have to do with the internet if there is so much to do?
