Five years ago we had already been in this house. This year it was time to come back. The construction activities of five years ago were behind us and the place radiated peace. The house is still very nice to stay with several adults because of the separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The swimming pool is small, but provides a lot of cooling. The new outdoor grill works perfectly, so cooking indoors in a hot summer is actually no longer necessary. A kettle would be nice to make tea. Cucuron itself is a lovely French village with beautiful photogenic streets, a quiet French market on Tuesday mornings (be sure to go very early) and picturesque French villages in the area. The two bicycles that we were allowed to use do need some maintenance. Nevertheless, the bike ride to the village to get bread every morning was a nice start to the day.

Beautiful and spacious house, perfectly located (shops and restaurants within walking distance), clean large swimming pool, friendly reception! Only air conditioning was missing…

The house is in the middle of the most beautiful region of France so everything is within half an hour. Canoeing on the Sorgue, tree climbing, rugged walks and beautiful towns.The house is cute, like staying with your French old sugar giant who loves traveling, cooking and reading. Many books, souvenirs and kitchen utensils in the house. It is a somewhat dated interior but the bathroom is very modern. In the utility room a second fridge-freezer. The pool is deep and has sun all day. At the pool you can sit in the shade of the trees. Beautiful garden surrounded by greenery.Direct behind the municipal sign of Roussillon, first small road on the right, first entrance on the right is the house. You hear here a bit of city sounds and neighbors sounds. Short walk to the village for the baker and to the Sentier des Ocres you can just walk from your huis.De manager is very friendly but speaks only French.
