Een mooi oud huis met een mooi aangelegde en volledig omheinde tuin met verschillende terrassen op verschillende niveaus, met een fijn zwembad. Het huis en de tuin zijn in werkelijkheid mooier dan de foto’s op de website. Het enige noodzakelijke verbeterpunt is het plaatsen van airco’s op de slaapkamers. De ventilatoren geven onvoldoende koeling tijdens warme dagen. Op de achtergrond hoor je soms geluid van auto’s. Vanuit het huis kan een prachtige wandeling worden gemaakt en het ligt op 5 minuten (met de auto afstand) van Beaulieu sur dordogne (bakker, supermarkt, restaurants). De royale keuken is zeer volledig uitgerust. Het aan de keuken grenzende overdekt terras is fantastisch.

Had a perfect holiday at the end of June with our 3 daughters. Saint-Leon is a very nice small village on the Vézère where you can eat well and do some small shopping. We were there immediately after the borders reopened after the lockdown, it was still quiet but we had the impression that it is a pretty touristy village. The nice thing about the house is that it is outside / above the village, on the slope. You will not be bothered by tourism, but you can look it up if you feel like it (10 minutes walk). The house and the place are beautiful and absolutely everything is there: from a swimming pool and trampoline to a hand blender, bath seat and umbrellas. It is all there. We brought too much stuff ourselves, completely unnecessary. A lot of clothes is not necessary because there is a washing machine. A big plus for us personally was the presence of a water softener; we have them at home (so we are spoiled) and usually the shower / bath is a flaw in the holiday. Not here. Carole and Alain are very friendly people who are always available but never annoyingly present. They enjoy seeing their guests enjoy their vacation. During our stay the dishwasher broke, within 2 hours there was a brand new one. The pool was of course the highlight for the kids. They played and swam there for hours. The bath is spacious and clean and the water quality is closely monitored. The surroundings are beautiful. You can walk and cycle nicely and there are many things to do (we have not made many trips because the house and garden offer enough). The tree climbing park "le conquil" is highly recommended and there are several caves and castles in the area. All in all a perfect holiday!

From the warm smile upon our arrival to the friendly conversation that preceded our departure, our host was of a truly remarkable kindness and (discreet) attention. The place is magnificent, authentic and the biodiversity here is not not a hollow word! Flowers, vegetable garden, fruit trees, swallows, butterflies, cows, flying insects, but which do not bite! - very few mosquitoes thanks to the work of birds, and few flies despite the presence of cows which graze silently around. In short, if you love nature and the men who do everything to keep it intact, then you will be in paradise! For those who are expecting a 6 star service in the Côte d "Azur style, I suggest the Riviera, otherwise, do not doubt that this Corrèze stay will do you a lot of good, and make you want to come back quickly! This is our case. Thank you, Christophe, for the construction of this superb place and its perfect swimming space: wonderful! See you soon ! Isabelle and Jean-Jacques

+ Nice location, well equipped, dreamlike view- damp-clammy bedroomPositive was the beautiful place. For vacation with dog simply great, because it can run freely there without problems. The house was very well equipped, we liked to cook, and of the usual kitchen utensils everything was rich, also such things as oil, salt, pepper ... - great praise! Sun loungers and cushions for the terrace, everything you could wish for. From the description was initially not quite clear to us, where the house actually stands. It is about 500 m distance outside Bouzic center to the north and in a beautiful solitary position. If you enter the coordinates 44.733059, 1.222564 at google.com/maps, you can understand it well. The humidity in the bedroom was not so pleasant. That was just stupid, just the bedding. We think it is due to the beautiful natural stone walls, maybe there can be improved with a rum air dehumidifier. We were very satisfied and had a nice stay. Thanks to the landlord.
