Wellness Holiday home in Laubressel

The cottage is fine and equipped with all the conveniences. Cozy in a small village where the residents looked at our dogs with interest and we were able to chat with hands and feet. The fence around the garden is fine and high enough for our big dogs. The surroundings are beautiful and there is plenty to do. The owner of the house sent us a nice and enjoyable receipt mail in which he already explained some things and also gave opportunities for two websites that we have gratefully used. Visited various towns and villages as well as a champagne farm in an authentic accommodation where Monier Champagne lived in the past. Very nice to go there, hear the stories and taste the champagne. With the help of Tripadvisor we found good restaurants 1 of which one really tasted Le Grange aux Abeilles in Giffaumont-Champaubert. Deliciously eaten and a very friendly helpful owner. In the villages in the area we had the pleasant experience that residents tried to help us and to explain things. Such helpfulness does not experience you anywhere. In short we had a very good holiday. A little less point are the flies that are properly stuck and the mattress in the bedroom below has had its longest time. But the pluses make it easy for the lesser points. Overall a must!

In advance, we received a comprehensive mail from the homeowner with all kinds of information about the house and the surrounding area in Dutch. As a result, we were well prepared to travel. Very nice to start the holiday. The house was well located and clearly recognizable by the blue shutters on the outside. Leo (homeowner) was already present. The introduction was friendly and kind. After completing a tour through the house and the formalities we were able to finish the house. Despite the fact that the house is on the road, there is hardly any harm to it. The surroundings are very quiet / of course. The house is well equipped. Everything we needed was present. 2 comments from our side 1) The gauze to keep out the flies / mosquitoes does not work properly 2) Had a direct passage to the terrace at the back, it would have been a top floor. In the week we were there We have had enough to do with everything in the area. Visiting Troyes is recommended as well as the lake with several beaches. Nature lovers get along with different observation huts and routes. Over the distance to the Netherlands this house has been a nice stopover for us on our way to the south of France.

Samen met een groep collega's (we waren met 8 personen) hebben wij allen genoten van ons verblijf in deze prachtige, authentieke herenwoning. De woning zelf is volledig en tot in de details vernieuwd en bezit alle moderne comfort. Ons gezelschap heeft genoten van het zeer ruime terras, ideaal om in het zonnetje te ontbijten, het naar onze normen zeer grote zwembad en de verzorgde jacuzzi en sauna. De streek is een parel in het champagne/bourgogne-landschap en leent zich perfect voor cultuur-uitstappen (Troyes, Reims, ...), degustaties en wat meer actievere uitdagingen (wij hebben MTB's gehuurd en de streek per fiets verkend). De communicatie met de eigenaar verliep zeer vlot, hij reageerde steevast onmiddellijk en de regeling voor, tijdens en na het verblijf was vlekkeloos. Wij zouden zonder aarzelen deze plaats opnieuw boeken als de gelegenheid zich voordoet. Een absolute aanrader voor gezinnen, families en (grotere) gezelschappen.
