Holiday cottage in Mont-Saint-Jean

The house was very spacious and neat. We were lucky with the weather: 30 degrees. Nice outside, but upstairs in the bedrooms it was sweltering. That was actually the only downside. And to turn that point into a positive, we sat on the lovely spacious terrace for a nice long time in the evening. A great home for 8 people. The children had organized fun things in the area. Enough to do. A house to recommend…yes. And luckily the owner speaks decent Dutch. Fine if you want to ask something. Tip: take some tea towels with you.

In deze historische setting genoten wij van een zalige familievakantie. We verbleven hier een week met 10 personen in alle comfort. Genoten van een bbq in de ruime privé tuin. De vriendelijke eigenaar is vlot te bereiken en reageert snel bij vragen/problemen. Het is een ideale uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en fietstochten in de mooie omgeving met talrijke veldwegen, die we grotendeels voor ons alleen hadden. In hetzelfde dorp (Senzeilles),op wandelafstand van het kasteel, huurden we bij Belcobike e-mountainbikes. Eveneens een aanrader. Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug!

We had a wonderful stay in this quiet, rural location. The garden was super for our dogs as it"s completely fenced off. The home had everything one would want, it was lovely and bright, very comfortable, and waking up each morning to the sound of nature was a joy. Our host was just lovely!Charming and generous with great advice about the region.She made us feel very much at home and our stay could not have been better.We loved it!
