This holiday home is highly recommended for lovers of peace, privacy and beautiful nature. The house is located in a quiet street with a beautiful view of the forests, meadow landscapes and well-kept garden. There are two strategically well placed terraces. One in the courtyard is ideal for breakfast, the other for sunbathing after noon and a delicious dinner in the evening or a drink at sunset. It is definitely recommended for the dogs, the yard is completely closed. The garden itself is partially fenced, but you have plenty of opportunity to tie them to something with a long line. You can immediately walk in the forest behind the house and see the beautiful vineyards and numerous deer. The house has been beautifully renovated with an eye for detail and cozy furnishings. Beautiful bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms. Very neat on arrival and super friendly welcome from the owner with a nice gift on arrival. Definitely worth a visit is l'île-Bouchard (beautiful river with walking path and picnic options, supermarket, gas station,... everything is there) We would love to come back!

What a wonderful holiday we had in this beautiful house! The cozy interior, the art and culture books, the basket with CDs, the nice bed, and everything for a pleasant stay was there. And then that beautiful enclosed garden with several seats, the great view, the peace. It started with a very friendly warm welcome by the sweet Mrs. A. and the nice bottle of wine from the winery in the area. My husband and I have enjoyed two weeks, together with our Labrador, nothing but. In the area the many sunflower fields, beautiful villages, castles and fantastic views over the hilly landscape. The only disadvantage we can think of is that we now miss this wonderful place! ;-) We would love to come back!

Very nice and spacious holiday home. Very quiet environment. Pleasant garden for aperitif and dinner in the evening in the sun. Very warm welcome on arrival (including bottle of Chinon wine) and departure. Ideally located as a base for visiting the region (Chinon, Villandry, Azay-le-rideau, Fontevraud, Richelieu, Crissay, etc) for cyclists who like a challenge - with steep climbs between vineyards and sunflower fields. Highly recommended.

Very nice renovated farm house to good standards. Very quiet. Walking distance from small forests great to walk the dog. Unfortunately have not seen any game. Not to far from beautiful castles, villages and vineyards. We were unlucky with the weather, but that did not spoil our holiday. Supermarkt about 6 minutes away. One of our favorite stays in France.
