Wellness Holiday home in Allègre-les-Fumades

it was the third time we came to Montclus and it felt a bit like coming home. The first 2 times we had a different stay outside the village, but now we were a bit in a paradise, when we arrived a super friendly Frenchwoman was waiting for us with the umbrella, because it poured there. We immediately got a wonderful explanation about the house, how the kitchen appliances worked, even how we had to switch the TV on and off, about Montclus and its surroundings, where it was best to shop, the sights in the near and slightly further surroundings, in short a wonderful hostess . It is a very spacious house with 2 separate toilets and 3 large bedrooms and a spacious bathroom, fully equipped kitchen. The only shortage in this house, in our eyes at least, there is no wifi and that might be there anyway. It is a must for anyone who is a nature lover, an advanced cyclist, a walker. In Montclus itself there is not much to do, although you are very quickly invited to play a game of petanque when you watch. Very friendly inhabitants that you certainly do not consider as a tourist but as one of theirs and you will soon feel at home there. We will definitely go back again.

Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van onze vakantie en dat komt zeker ook door dit vakantiehuis. Het is zowel vanbinnen als rondom erg ruim. De uitzichten zijn prachtig. Overdag was het goed warm maar 's nachts koelde het steeds weer af. Door de luikjes aan de ramen konden we het huis zelf zelfs zonder airco aanganaam houden. De keuken is voorzien van alles wat we nodig hadden. Er was aan waterflessen (voor de caraf d'eau), een groot snijmes (voor de meloen), enkele plastic potjes en zelfs ijsblokjesvormpjes gedacht. Ook een wasrek en wasspelden, wasmand maakten dat de noodzakelijke taakjes op vakantie moeiteloos gingen. Het domein heeft een aanbod voor wie zin heeft en heeft veel rust voor wie daarvan geniet. Het is nooit superdruk en de mensen helpen met allerlei vragen ook in het Nederlands. De eigenaar van het huisje is per mail gemakkelijk bereikbaar. Voor ons was het een heel leuk eerste verblijf in de Ardèche. Wanneer we met het gezin nog eens naar de Ardèche komen zal ik zeker eerst kijken of dit huis nog vrij is.

What a fantastic place! You hope that your holiday home looks like this, but if it actually does, then you are a lucky person. Beautiful house, in a beautiful village. We were welcomed very hospitably and given a short tour. The house is fully equipped: good beds, nice kitchen, very good WiFi, garden furniture. Everything was more than present. One day the dishwasher broke down, after 2 hours the owner was already on the doorstep with a technician. Fantastic! The village of Montclus is very beautiful. Very quiet. The area is very nice, we made several trips to markets - Goudargues and Barjac -, to Gorges de l'Ardeche, Avignon, etc. All tips and road maps are already present in the house, just like barbecue equipment such as firelighters and charcoal. In short; fantastic house, great host and beautiful surroundings!
