Holiday home with Garden in Charleville-Mézières

Het huis heeft veel spelmogelijkheden: poolen, tafeltennis, tafelvoetbal. Goed afgesloten tuin, wel een gammel hek. De kachel was aan en de bedden opgemaakt. Sleutel lag op afgesproken plek, geen beheerder gezien, contact via mail wat goed liep. Een paar Nederlandse zenders op tv. Maar: veel ( denk stuk of 50) vliegen in huis, volgens eigenaresse door platteland en herfst. Geen horren. Erg gehorig huis, als je boven praat is het beneden haast te verstaan. Huis is niet muisvrij, dat hield onze honden wel alert. Gordijn voor badkamerraam boven waar je zo doorheen kijkt. De 3e slaapkamer bereik je door de 2e slaapkamer. De vaatwasser werkt matig. In de weilanden rond het huis veel stieren, en gehuil van vossen. Genoeg ruimte om te zitten in de kamer en de keuken met een grote tafel met stoelen.

It is a wonderful house: beautifully situated in the hills, has a spacious (fenced!) garden and a sunny south-facing terrace. Our dog loved it. There is much to do in the area. The kitchen has all the necessities and there are even three types of coffee set. The cottage could use a good scrub and makeover, it was cleaned with the French blow and it is a challenge to share 1 toilet and bathroom with 6 adults and the upper floor is not suitable for tall people ....... but that does not outweigh the location of the house and the lovely terrace / garden. We will definitely come back again!

Nice authentic house, with modern amenities. Just like all houses here, it is clearly visible that it is an older house. Beautiful location, the house is visible from miles away. Quiet location, some overdue maintenance but certainly not a nuisance. It is noisy due to the wooden floors, but if you take that into account, no problem at all. The furnishings and kitchen are good with sufficient pots/pans, etc. Central heating a big 10 and unlimited wood for both stoves. Mattresses a bit sagging Super fun playroom Perfect stay
