Spring break 2025 - Book your holiday for 2025 in Reuzengebergte

This was our second time in Stupna in the Giant Mountains and we really enjoyed it.

This was such an incredibly beautiful house! Immediately good contact with the caretaker on arrival. The key was neatly ready and we could always call her if we needed anything (speaks great German). The house was again really beautiful. Just renovated , beautiful bedrooms, beautiful living room ennnnnn EVERYTHING was present in the house what you can imagine and what you have at home A nice knife set in the kitchen, freezer, oven, microwave, super many pots and pans, even all kinds of herbs. , with all standard NL channels (NPO 1,2,3, RTL4, RTL5, Veronica, etc). Not much used itself, only the Eurovision Song Contest) The environment is also incredibly beautiful. Many nice and beautiful things to visit within 20 - 60 minutes drive, Prague is 1.5 hours away, including a weekend, and the nearby area is great. You do need a car to get there and move around. Supermarket is 4-5 km away (Lidl , also very big and nice!) Nature is there too very beautiful, really an ideal walking area. We were with 2 small children (1 and 3 years) and the house is also perfect for that. Safe to crawl around and play. Downside? I can't think of that. We really enjoyed ourselves so much! Oh yes, the floors in the bedrooms are pretty creaky. That sometimes woke our baby.

It was not easy to pick up the key from the Czech gentleman, it was quite a search. The older gentleman turned out to be the nicest and took all the time to show us around, down to the smallest details. The cottage was very neat and clean, the interior somewhat outdated and Eastern European, but it turned out that we were sitting there. It actually had something. The plastic table outside has now earned a final resting place after several resuscitation attempts. The kitchen is very complete, we were not short of anything. The refrigerator is really too small for six people, half a point deduction. The fireplace in the living room is really fantastic, which makes it very cozy and atmospheric inside. Upstairs, the bedrooms are also fine, as well as the spacious bathroom. Now the score: 10 - 0.5 (the table outside really is no longer possible) - 0.5 (minibar for six people) = a solid 9.0! I would recommend this cottage to anyone. A day in Prague (1.5 hours drive), a day in Cesky Raj (super nice, highly recommended!), A day in Snezka (highest mountain, Giant Mountains), nice weather and you have a fantastic holiday!
