Holiday home for 6 people in Celles

Very nice house, the garden is amazing and the location is perfect. A lot of things to do, also with kids. Domaine the Chevetongue is awesome for a day trip with nice weather and kids (take food and drinks because there was not much opportunity to get it there). House is very close to Durbuy, you can walk there. Durbuy is a very nice city. Also interesting war musea around the area. Stores are close and a bakery on a walking distance. The house itself has 5 nice bedrooms. We stayed here with 6 grown ups and 3 kids, which was perfect. A lot more people would be a bit much if you ask me (the sitting corner had places for 6 people for instance). When there is nice weather and you can sit in the garden it’s perfect for a lot more guests. There were a couple small things broken in the house (for instance the holder for the shower, some garden play things), but the owner was going to fix it after our stay he mentioned. Al together we had a pleasant stay en would recommend the house.

A nice house with good beds, washing machine dryer and dishwasher. Via a cycle path you are close to the rental of canoes and bicycles. If you continue cycling or walking as the Ourthe you will arrive in Durbuy. When you continue following the river to Barvaux you will come across a beautiful cycling/running pass along the canoe route. We walked to Duruy once. Then we used the bicycles in the shed. 2 work well but are a bit small. The other two unfortunately do not switch well anymore. There is enough space in the basement to bring your own bike. You can also rent an E bike for 55,- per day. The terrace at the house is also beautiful. Unfortunately you hear the cars. There are houses around it on a quiet road, mainly walkers. We liked it. When it was warmer than 30 degrees the owner brought a fan. You can sleep with open windows without being bothered by mosquitoes. We would love to come back again!

De eigenares van het huis was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Spreekt alleen Frans maar begrijpt wel veel van wat je zegt. Het huis is een fijn huis, groot, en het zwembad en de jacuzzi zijn heerlijk. We hadden helaas wat slecht weer maar genoten van het zwemmen en ook vaak getafeltennist. De bedden zijn iets aan de harde kant maar evengoed heerlijk kunnen slapen. En de borg van 1000 euro is na thuiskomst binnen drie dagen al terug gestort. In het kort dus eigenlijk een aanrader voor degenen die van rust en ruimte en zwemmen houden
