It is a great house with all the comforts. We noticed that the dishwasher handle was broken. That made it much more difficult to use. The refrigerator handle was also almost broken. We almost didn't dare to use it. When we arrived, the oven was very dirty. That's why we couldn't use it. It seemed like they accidentally forgot to clean it because the rest of the house was really fine.

Kindly received by the owners and a clear explanation of all matters in and around the house. The house has everything you need for a trip to the Ardennes. Good beds, excellent furniture, nice swimming pool and even infrared sauna. If you bring good weather and a good mood, you will lack nothing. Supermarkets about 5 km away and plenty of dining options nearby. Comments in other reviews about that it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or that the furnishings are not up to date, sorry dear people, you can see that in all the photos. The house has the charm of the Ardennes and beyond privacy, peace and quiet and wonderful to enjoy for a week (or longer). You can park your car on your own property, although the driveway takes some getting used to, but you get used to it after a few times. In short, we had a great holiday and thank the owners for their hospitality and friendly contact via WhatsApp during and after our stay.

Het huis in Quarreux, gemeente Aywaille, is een geweldig huis voor 2 personen. Een mooi ruim huis, met veel licht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is een mooi terras bij met tafel, stoelen en zelfs ligstoelen en een BBQ. De tuin rondom is ook prachtig en ruim. Ondanks dat het vlakbij de Ambleve, het spoor en de grote weg ligt, heb je hier totaal geen last van. De eigenaren van het huisje wonen hiernaast en zijn hele lieve, zorgzame personen. Qua ligging ligt het perfect voor allerlei activiteiten. Op loopafstand van Ninglinspo, het bergriviertje waar je hele mooie wandelingen kan maken, op fietsafstand van het dorp Aywaille voor de winkels, restaurants en terrasjes, en ook andere leuke plaatsjes in de omgeving. Dit huis is echt een aanrader!

We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The house had already been decorated for Christmas by the owners! We had a pleasant stay with unfortunately less weather. So we were not able to use the beautifully situated swimming pool and bar. But we can certainly imagine that it is a good place to stay here in the summer! But the house made up for the bad weather. Inside by the fireplace or in the sauna. The living room had a nice dining table and sitting area to play games. The kitchen was also fully equipped. The driveway to the garage is steep, but you can also park upstairs. All in all highly recommended!
