Wat hebben we genoten in dit fantastische huis met ons gezin. Alles was heel schoon en netjes. De keuken heel goed uitgerust. Echt alles is aanwezig, schoon en niet kapot. Een grote schaal fruit stond klaar met nog wat lekkere dingen. Het zwembad enorm groot en lekker warm. Met heerlijke stoelen en een zithoek. En een douche. In de ruimte ernaast staat een pooltafel en voetbalspel. Daarachter een sauna en nog een douche en toillet. Echt fantastisch. De bedden zijn ook goed, de kamers netjes. Op het grote terras zijn ook heel wat mogelijkheden om te zitten. Een tafeltennistafel. Groot terrein om het huis. Er is genoeg parkeerplaats binnen het hek. Fijn idee dat alles afgesloten kan worden. Het huis ligt centraal. Op een kwartier a 20 minuten rijden met de auto ben je al bij veel bezienswaardigheden en winkels. Een goede bakker zit in het dorpje Staumont. De eigenaar was ook goed bereikbaar voor vragen en in/uitchecken. Zelf kreeg ik vooraf niet zo goed zicht op de indeling van het huis. Misschien dat de eigenaar nog een plattegrond kan toevoegen op de site. Overdag hoor je wel wat auto's en motoren rijden maar 's nachts is het vreselijk stil. Heerlijk. Het huis is niet goedkoop maar daar heb je ook wat voor. Dus alles bij elkaar: Van harte aanbevolen!

Prachtige ruime woning, mooi gelegen in het gehucht Verleumont, vlakbij Lierneux. Woning is met smaak ingericht en heeft voor diverse kamers verschillende kleuren en thema's. Keurige frisse badkamer en apart toilet beneden, boven een gecombineerde badkamer-toilet. Vanuit de kamer en keuken kijk je prachtig ver weg op de Ardense heuvels, een schitterend plaatje. De enorme tuin met hangmat, prieel, heerlijke buitenstoelen en bbq is prachtig en biedt voldoende privacy. Helaas hadden we veel koude regendagen en hebben we weinig buiten kunnen zitten, gelukkig staat er een pracht van een professionele voetbaltafel, hier werd door zowel de kinderen als de ouders, lekker competitief en veel gebruik van gemaakt. Huis wordt door de beheerders keurig schoon opgeleverd. Bedden zijn netjes opgemaakt, alles zeer fris. Beheerder spreekt naast Frans ook goed Engels, dat maakte de conversatie net wat makkelijker voor ons, zeker als het om het scheiden van afval gaat, daar is men in de gemeente Lierneux streng in. Ondanks het wat mindere weer hebben we genoten van de woning en de prachtige omgeving!

We were here with 8 adults for 1 week in april 2023. There was plenty of room for all of us and the house has been decorated with love. The back of the house has a very nice wide view of the country. The front of the house borders a road that is not very busy. Good beds. Wood stove (at very reasonable fee) and central heating 2 bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, filter coffee machine, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, toaster, hand blender etc. Washing machine, ironing board, cleaning equipment. Very big garden with garden furniture and also a covered terrace. There is a big BBQ and a gas-BBQ (fee). The hosts are friendly and with help of Google translate very helpful with information. There is also a flyer with helpful local information (shops etc.)

This house was neat and clean on arrival. Spacious garden. Beautiful covered terrace with enough seating for such a large group. The dining room inside is less spacious. The beds were fine. The sanitary facilities are also neat and clean. In the kitchen we missed some things for such a large group. We found the large storage space very easy. Beautiful area for walking in nature, but also many shops within walking distance. You can easily stay here for a week with the whole family. Fun for young and old. Very successful in our opinion!
