Lakeside Holiday Rentals in Oberwölz

Fantastic, spacious house with all mod cons and more. Ideally located for hikes and trips. Squeeky clean, thanks to Irmgard, the super friendly housekeeper. The spa was a welcome bonus.

We had a fantastic holiday in Sankt Margarethen im Lungau. The cottage is spacious (we were 5) and is located on the edge of the village. You have a beautiful view of the Speiereck on the other side of the valley. There is also a nice walk to the top. From Sankt Margarethen you can go in different directions to do something, because in the village itself there is not much to do. But there is plenty to do in Mauterndorf, Obertauern, Tamsweg, Katschberg and St Michael, for example. The JohannesWasserfall in Untertauern is also very special. Pay attention if you go further away, because if you want to go south or north via the A10, you always have to go through a toll tunnel (or detour). A small downside is that the terrace in front of the house is in the afternoon sun and there is no parasol.

On arrival at 3pm we could not get into the house because at that moment the ladies of the cleaning had to start. But of these very friendly ladies we were allowed to stall our luggage in the garage and go shopping. At 17:00 we could go to the super clean house. It is a beautiful house and fully equipped. Also use the laundry room with a Miele washing machine and Miele dryer. Nice and beautiful wellness area with sauna. The location is fantastic overlooking a gliding area where regular gliding and sports planes rise. A day of rafting with the water sports school next to the glider was fantastic. You can enjoy a nice walk, spot deer, walk a nice center with great restaurants and shopping. We had a fantastic week with two families!
