Holiday home in the countryside in Leibnitz

The mountain ride up by car to the house I have been very mistaken. It is a reasonable climb up by car (20 min.), With my Opel Corsa I had to drive in second gear regularly. The cottage was fine except for some minor defects (few lamps broken or not connected). The view from the house is a bit disappointing (trees are in sight) but in the immediate vicinity there are plenty of beautiful viewpoints and walks to do. Two restaurants within walking distance. There is a nice balcony / terrace at the house where you can enjoy the surroundings. Every day cows with calves walk past the house, which give a nice atmosphere. The location is not central and a bit further from all nice tourist trips. Because of this we have done different things than we normally would like visiting the Arnold Schwarzenegger museum.

The stay in the holiday home was really great, there you can find everything you need (dishes, pots, grill, etc.). The sauna was the highlight. The surroundings are fantastic, you can hike in a different direction every day and always get something new to see. It takes 20-30 minutes by car to get to the nearest village along the serpentines. I recommend going to Deutschlandsberg, the path is not that steep and winding. Everything you need can be found in the village. There was also a bread roll service via the restaurant next door, but unfortunately it didn't work for us (probably due to the Corona) ... (nobody answered the phone). The only drawback was the beds .. the mattresses are great but the wooden frame (from the double bed) squeaked and creaked badly with every little movement. In a few nights that was very nerve-wracking - despite the earplugs. Otherwise, the holiday home is definitely recommended!

The hut is very loving. We immediately felt comfortable. The oven invites you to dream. The area there is particularly suitable for long walks. Our dogs have there also very well. The small lake was the bathing paradise of Hunde.Wettertechnisch we had everything experienced snow, rain, sun, fog, Sturm.Leider were designed in the House no flyer that would stay possibly designed us a little better in terms of Things. Another negative aspect in the house at all were no cleaning materials (sponge, rag, detergent, Reinigungstaps for the dishwasher were none). The magnificent view of the wine level has in turn compensated us.
