Holiday home with Sauna in Grossglockner Kals-Matrei

A spacious house in a not so well known but fantastic area. Many hiking opportunities. Also a nice swimming pool nearby. The house is dated but is fully equipped. We had a fantastic week.

The house was expected. Because of previous experiences in the past with Belvilla and good to have looked the description and photographs, we are staying with our family (2 adults. 3 children) as very positive the choice fall on this home.We. House is rustic, as well as furnishing and equipment. It is especially nice after a day of skiing to plop delicious in the bank, which I'm not much encountered in other homes. The ski area Matrei is recommended for young families, much better than Kals (other side mountain) from Matrei to the gondola to the mountain, and your children on top of the mountain class. This has the advantage that the whole day may come your children can have lunch together! All in all a very nice stay at the house and ski area, be sure to keep your back komen.Als of a modern house you should continue your search but if you love rustic and cozy you definitely have a good stay.

We were in Matrei earlier than planned, so the house was not ready yet. The owner came up to meet us, gave us some directions for hiking trails and would call if the house would be ready for us earlier. At 11.15 he called that we could enter the house, which was very nice. In older reviews I had read about poor WiFi and cleaning, which is now very good and clean. The enclosed garden is great, so dogs and children can safely play outside and not run away. The environment is beautiful and peaceful. Especially the men enjoyed chopping wood to light the stove, which then heats the whole house. The homeowner explains how it works and there is wood in abundance. We also had very comfortable beds and spacious bedrooms. All in all had a wonderful stay and worth repeating.
