Erg snoezig huisje, met lekker veel ruimte voor met zijn tweeën. Eigenares, Francoise, is er vriendelijk. Boven zijn twee tweepersoonsbedden, gescheiden door een gordijn. Bed is wel erg smal. Omgeving is mooi, geen echte wandelroutes dichtbij. Volgens de info is er een bos op 100 meter. Dat zal wel kloppen, maar daar kun je dus niet echt komen. Er is vanalles aanwezig, maar het meeste is wel oud en/og beschadigd. Van veel dingen zijn stukjes af, nogal wat pannen missen bijv. een handvat. Niet van alles is ook een duidelijk deelbaar aantal aanwezig. Dat geeft soms een beetje kringloopwinkel gevoel. De wifi werkte aan geen kant. Slechte verbinding, met heel veel onderbrekingen. Dat zou binnenkort moeten verbeteren met de komst van glasvezel. We betaalden €3 per dag voor de wifi. Na opmerkingen over de kwaliteit en beschikbaarheid heeft Francoise ons ongeveer de helft gerekend, wat we ok vonden, maar liever hadden we natuurlijk wel gewoon internet willen hebben. We hebben een goede tijd gehad, met name door het mooie weer en hoewel er best wel wat verkeer langskomt, is de locatie best wel rustig. We kijken er dus met genoegen op terug.

Het is een prachtig, oud huisje met een grote tuin. We hebben er een fijne tijd gehad. De ontvangst door de beheerster is heel vriendelijk. (Wel alleen in het Frans). De bedden slapen heerlijk Het huis is schoon en van veel gemakken voorzien. Wat wel opvalt is dat het huisje iets verwaarloosds heeft. De toeristische informatie is niet bijgewerkt door de huidige eigenaars waardoor er een stapel folders uit 2012 ligt. De 'huisinformatie ' is ook verouderd en er staat van alles met pen bijgeschreven. Een deel van de keukenspullen is kapot. Alle deuren klemmen. Het buitenmeubilair bladdert af. We waren er in de tweede helft van mei en hebben het ontzettend koud gehad, ook omdat de tochtstrip van de voordeur los is. Pas toen we weggingen was het huis enigzins comfortabel. Tip: neem sloffen mee, de vloer is erg koud. We verbleven met twee volwassenen en twee kinderen. Voor zes volwassenen zou het huis te klein zijn.

The atmosphere is as in the pictures, romantic and French. Everything works, all amenities, excellent WiFi and TV range. Beautiful large garden with lots of privacy. Everything you need is available. The weather was a bit disappointing but with the heater on more than warm in the room. The area is very nice and not touristy. Great if you like peace and quiet, but besides walking and cycling there is little to do. It may be busier and cozier in the summer months. The garden is not fenced, no problem for our dogs, but be careful with children. No train seen but some car traffic. Not disturbing and heard nothing at night. The beds are just as romantic as the rest of the house, but not suitable for us. We slept separately and then the bed is big enough.

The house in Montigny-en-Morvan was in excellent condition and its location is truly beautiful. The view from the house is truly fantastic: an undulating landscape, gently sloping down to the beautiful Lac de Pannecière. The house has all amenities and a truly lovely swimming pool. In addition, the on-site owners Virginie and David are very friendly and discreet people. Very pleasant. The region is highly recommended in terms of natural beauty and there are many, many beautiful excursions to make in this beautiful region of Burgundy. Restaurants and shops for purchases are nearby (about 12 km). A wonderful holiday is certainly guaranteed here!
