A train goes from Amsterdam to Alkmaar. A bus line every 20 minutes takes you to Schoorl within 11 minutes.

Leisure Activities in Schoorl

Schoorl is located at the Schooner dunes. These are the widest and highest dunes in the Netherlands. In addition, there is soft and warm sand. You can discover the dunes from your holiday home in Schoorl or your apartment in Schoorl on foot or by bike. Before that, you should get the dune plan from the national park visitor center. So you can't get lost. The route between Schoorl and Bergen is a real challenge for enthusiastic cyclists. It is the heaviest mountain bike route in the Netherlands. There is a climbing dune directly in Schoorl, which ensures a lot of fun and variety, especially for children. In the meantime, the parents can sit back down because the soft sand bends injuries.
