Description

This authentic holiday home in the French town of Chantenay-Saint-Imbert features a large swimming pool. The accommodation offers 2 comfortable bedrooms and a mezzanine with a double bed and a bed for children. Ideal for sun holidays with the family! Your faithful four-legged friend is also welcome. Go for a healthy morning walk through the centre of Saint Pierre le Moutier, which can be found 9 km from the holiday home. You can get a breakfast at the supermarket 2 km away and in the evening you can enjoy a nice dinner at a restaurant in one of the nearby towns. The Magny-Cours Formula 1 circuit can be found 20 km away. The well-equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your own dinner for your party. One of the bathrooms has a washer-dryer and a pleasant cork floor; lovely when you just step out of the shower.

In the living room, on the shelf next to the fireplace, you will find many brochures with ideas for excursions. Please use them with care so that other guests can also make use of them. The private pool is open from May to September and is surrounded by 6 aluminium loungers. If you really want to unwind, you can choose to sink into the hammock. The property offers high-speed internet via fibre optic cable. In the living room and in the master bedroom are the two thermostats used to control the heating. The heating is completely electric, and the procedure is explained in the Belvilla folder in the house. Water heating is also controlled electrically. Please use electricity responsibly. You will find all kitchen utensils in the kitchen. Should anything break despite your good care, please let us know so we can arrange for a replacement. Please note the microwave oven can also be used as a conventional oven. On arrival, you will receive 2 kitchen towels and 2 washing-up blocks, a dishcloth and a sponge. May we ask you to unload the dishwasher before your departure and empty the refrigerator completely, turn the switch to 0 and leave the door open?

Voor onze eerste vakantie als gezinnetje hebben we genoten van de rust en schoonheid van La Chantenay. Op de foto’s zag het huis en de omgeving al super uit, maar in werkelijkheid waren we echt verrast. Omdat we laat aankwamen hadden we geen boodschappen kunnen doen. Het welkomstcadeautje was alleen al daarom een super welkome geste waarvoor we zeer dankbaar waren. De zij- en achterburen zijn koeien met kalfjes en schapen met lammetjes. Voor onze kleine jongen was het prachtig om de dieren te mogen aanschouwen. Dit is ook het uitzicht vanuit het zwembad. ‘s Avonds zaten we lekker voor het huis een potje te kaarten. Het is goed te zien dat de huiseigenaren zoveel zorg en detail in het huis hebben gestopt. Aan alles is gedacht van badmintonset (mét net) tot uno en van barbecue tot broodrooster. Hierdoor hebben wij ‘s ochtends toch kunnen genieten van een knapperig stukje brioche. Het beddengoed was zelfs nog spiksplinternieuw en konden we zo uit de verpakking halen. Al met al een dikke 10! Wanneer onze zoon ouder is komen we graag terug! Het immense grasveld en de schommels zullen dan niet onbenut blijven.

Rustige, mooie en landelijke tuin en omgeving met een fantastisch zwembad! Het huis is smaakvol ingericht en lekker koel. De douche beneden is heerlijk. Alles is aanwezig voor een zorgeloze en ontspannende vakantie zoals wij hoopten.
