The nearest larger town is the small town of Niebüll (12 kilometers), from where the ferries to the islands of Sylt, Föhr, Amrum and the Halligen start. The Niebüll weekly market takes place every Saturday and offers you a good opportunity to buy fresh fish, vegetables, meat and regional products.
