At an altitude of 650 m, you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Thuringian Forest and the Suhl Valley. From the holiday home, you can also go hiking, mountain biking, or cross-country skiing. The famous Rennsteig ridge trail, with its numerous hiking destinations, is the longest long-distance ski trail in Europe in winter and runs just 2.5 km from the house. The cities of Erfurt and Weimar, with their cultural attractions, are also quickly accessible via the motorway. And if you'd rather take it easy: On your over 1000 m² garden with terrace, guests of all ages have plenty of space to relax, play, and unwind.

Explore the surrounding area on long hikes or take a bike ride. The mining hiking trail with reconstructed tunnel entrances in the Pochwerksgrund (pouring mill ground) is also worthwhile. A short detour to the cities of Suhl, Erfurt, Weimar, or Gotha is easily arranged. These are ideal places for strolling, shopping, and experiencing culture! The Suhl-Goldlauter ski slope is one of the most challenging in Thuringia. Both skiers and snowboarders will find their money's worth here.
